We Are Our Brother’s Keeper

Guided by Faith, Serving with Compassion

Brother’s Keeper is a Catholic/Christian nonprofit dedicated to reflecting the Gospel call to “love one another” (John 13:34) by helping individuals experiencing homelessness rebuild their lives. We strive to see the face of Christ in each person, providing not only assistance but also spiritual care and companionship on their journey to stability.

Our Story

Rooted In Service
Inspired by Catholic Social Teaching and the question from Scripture, “Am I my brother’s keeper?” (Genesis 4:9), our founders began by distributing meals, clothing, and prayer support to those living on the streets.
Holistic Approach
Recognizing that homelessness often involves complex challenges — such as mental health issues, lack of job opportunities, or family crises — we formed a network of support combining practical resources with the compassionate love taught by Christ.
Community of Hope
Today, Brother’s Keeper partners with local parishes, volunteers, and community organizations to provide essential services, transitional housing, counseling, and job readiness programs. Our ultimate goal is to walk alongside each person, helping them discover hope, dignity, and independence.
